25 August 2022 - Tétouan Saniat R'mel airport passes the 100,000-passenger mark for the first time
Tétouan Saniat R'mel Airport reached 100,000 passengers for the first time on Thursday, August 25, 2022. On this occasion, ONDA held a ceremony at Tétouan Airport to welcome the 100,000th passenger. This passenger was on Ryanair flight FR 4539 from Malaga and was given presents by ONDA.
With 88,129 passengers registered during the first seven months of 2022, Tétouan Airport recorded the highest recovery rate at the national level, at 378% of air traffic recorded during the same period in 2019, compared with a national average of 70%.
Air traffic at this airport has increased eightfold over the last 10 years, from 7,333 passengers in 2011 to 61,215 passengers in 2021, with an average annual growth of around 23.64%.
