The airports of Casablanca and Marrakech have obtained level 2 of the Airport Carbon Accreditation (ACA), which is the only program with an international dimension for the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions specific to airports. This program allows airports around the world to measure their carbon footprint and above all to set up programs to drastically reduce their greenhouse gases, according to 4 different levels (mapping, reduction, optimization and neutrality). The airports of Rabat and Fez also obtained level 1 of this program with a prospect of evolution in the higher levels. |
